Installations & Refurbishments
Whether you need installation, modernisation or a refurb on a passenger or goods lift, subject to qualification, we can give you a FREE no obligation consultation, survey and report. Whichever service is recommended for you; we’ll then project manage your job to make sure it’s on time and on budget. We specialise in modernising and upgrading old lifts, too.
Even if you’re not a commercial customer, we’re happy to carry out repairs that you might need. We can do this after service reports, call outs and planned inspections or examinations. If you need an carry out an insurance repair, we can do this too.
If you are a private company with just one lift, or a government or commercial organisation with a large portfolio of lifts, even as a local company we have a wide scope of expertise when it comes to keeping your lift in perfect working order. And there’s no need to be locked in to a long contract - we offer 12-month rolling contracts, with just 3 months’ notice period.
We can carry out all major tests
If you manage or own a lift that workers in the workplace or the public may use, you need to satisfy the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA). You will do this if you follow LOLER (which means you will also comply with PUWER); these thorough examinations should be carried out twice a year on passenger lifts and once a year on goods lifts. We can also carry out other tests and inspections (such as SAFed Annex Tests), just get in touch and let us know what you need.


Lifts provided for use by workers in workplaces are subject to the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). However, in most cases lifting equipment which is not provided for, or used by, people at work (e.g. stair lifts in private dwellings and platform lifts in shops used for customer access) will not be subject to either LOLER or PUWER. But businesses providing this equipment will have responsibilities for its safety (it will require routine maintenance and inspection).
