Lift Repairs

It’s important to make sure your lift is regularly serviced; but even with planned preventative maintenance, your lift could still need a repair. We carry out a variety of lift repairs; which can be required for a number of different reasons including:

Service Items
Following a lift service our engineer will highlight any problems the lift may have and arrange for a quotation for the repair work to be sent, leaving it up to you to decide whether to go ahead or not

Insurance Items
If during your thorough examination the competent person identifies repairs that are needed we can provide a quotation for the repair and give you the choice of how and when it should be completed

Call Outs (Contract Customers)
If your lift unexpectedly develops a fault and you have a maintenance contract with us we will send an engineer to investigate the problem and remedy the fault where possible

Standalone Repairs (Non Contract Customers)
We are also happy to provide quotations to non-contract customers if your lift develops a fault

BS EN 81-80 & The Equality Act
Following a thorough examination or lift service you may be advised of possible upgrades to bring your lift in line with the latest safety standards. Visit our lift refurbishment and modernisation page for more information on how we can help

No two installations are the same and we have successfully completed many different lift repairs from a battery replacement to replacing an entire control panel, push buttons and pump unit. We offer competitive prices and are happy to quote for any repair work, whether you are an existing Chiltern Lift Company customer or not. We use British suppliers and local businesses wherever possible, and always try to use ‘open protocol’ parts that can be accessed by any lift company, giving you greater flexibility in the future.
